Announcement and Schedule of Weekly Scientific Events

These various activities in different parts of Turkey for the social sciences and social works in the field of science are organized. Although these activities are not directly under the name of social works, they may be of interest to the social work area.
Follow-up of the activities organized in the field of social work is important in terms of increasing professional knowledge, recognizing different points of view, following the agenda of the profession, interacting with different experts and personal development. To this end, various congresses concerning the social work area are given below. Detailed information on recent congresses is provided below.

2nd International Congress of Social Sciences-USBIK (30 January-02 February 2019):

The Congress will be held in 2019 at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Hacı Bektas Veli University of Nevsehir between 30 January and 2 February. The congress is aimed at researchers, academicians, experts who study in different fields of social sciences, and those who study at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. The languages ​​of the congress are Turkish, English and Japanese.
The aim of the congress is to present different researches by bringing together the work of local and foreign academicians, experts and practitioners. Apart from that, it aims at creating an environment for the transfer of knowledge and experiences of scientists to interdisciplinary studies.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is 25 December 2018. Abstracts of the presentations will be published in the congress abstract e-book. If the full text of the paper is sent to the Congress Secretariat by March 03, 2019, it will be published in the congress e-book ( ISBN) with the condition that the spelling rules are followed.

2nd International Antalya Congress (01 March-03 March 2019):

The congress will be held between 01 March and 03 March 2019 at the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Akdeniz University Institute of Social Sciences. The congress will be held as part of the 812th anniversary of the conquest of Antalya.
The accommodation and food costs of the participants will be covered by the organizing committee. The travel expenses of the participants from abroad or from outside the province will be covered by the organizing committee of the congress.
The deadline for participants to submit a paper at the congress is 30 December 2018. The announcement date of the notified announcements is 15 January 2019. Finally, the deadline for full text submission is March 30, 2019.

2nd International Scientific Studies Congress-UBCAK (21 March-24 March 2019):

The place of the congress will be announced one month before the date of the congress. The presentation language of the congress is Turkish and English and the congress is prepared by taking into consideration the “New Academic Incentive Criteria".
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 01 March 2019. The deadline for full text is 26 April 2019. Abstracts and full texts of the papers to be presented at the congress will be published in electronic form as an e-book with the ISBN number after the arbitration process. In addition, if required, the papers will be printed as ”International book section“ and delivered to the participants.
