National Health Sciences Student Congress was organized for the first time by İstanbul Gelişim University. The problems experienced by the university students were discussed in the congress, solutions were produced and their current developments and experiences were shared. In the congress which aimed to increase the communication and cooperation between Health Sciences students, 61 talented and experienced speakers in their fields shared their knowledge with the participants. In the congress where thousands of participants from different schools were present, panels, oral and poster presentations, information sharing as well as social events took place.
The chairman of the congress was the Director of the IGU School of Health Sciences Abdullah Yüksel Barut and co-chair of the congress was student Ebru Kurt from Audiology Department of the School of Health Sciences. İGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli said that they wanted to support the students at every opportunity.
Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (English) Necip Ozan Tiryakioğlu took part as the chairman of the session at the "Generation Clash". In the session, international students' expectations were discussed.Students of our department Lina Noory and Huda Resul shared their experiences and the difficulties they faced.
The third year students of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation contributed to the congress by sharing their scientific studies in order to create awareness of physical activity in the community.
