 İGU at 23rd ENPHE Conference


Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Prof. Dr. Bilsen Sirmen, Head of Occupational Therapy Department Assist. Prof. Gülşah Kınalı and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department Lecturer Gülşah Konakoğlu attended “Education 23rd ENPHE Conference for Innovation and Multidisciplinarity Congress” held in Paris on September 20-22, 2018.


ENPHE is a network-based organization that gathers all the institutions and organizations that educate Physiotherapists in Europe and strengthens mutual cooperation and aims to provide information exchange and interaction on developments in physiotherapy education, to support accreditation of physiotherapy training programs, to support high quality education in accordance with the WCPT (World Confederation for Physical Therapy) directives and to increase general knowledge in the field of physiotherapy. In addition, to provide mutual student and academician mobility between Physiotherapy education institutions, to provide cooperation between Physiotherapy training institutions in terms of research projects, to provide relations and information exchange between European administrative authorities and national and international organizations.
ENPHE organizes conferences, seminars and other study meetings in the field of Physiotherapy and develops all kinds of international cooperation between 29 European countries, 183 member organizations and students and academicians.
Istanbul Gelişim University Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Turkish and English Departments are officially a member of ENPHE since January 2018.
Our lecturers Gülşah Konakoğlu and Çağıl Ertürk presented their master's theses which were completed by Assist. Prof. Gulsah KINALI in this congress Professor Bilsen SİRMEN served as referee. Both theses and lecturers were proud of our university with the master theses that remained in the top 7 in the congress.
