Istanbul Gelisim University Nutrition and Dietetics Club Promotion Days

The club booths for the promotion days were set up respectively at Gelisim University Vocational High School on December 10, at Gelisim University Rectorate Building on December 11, at Gelisim Tower on December 12 and at Faculty of Fine Arts on December 13.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (Turkish Track and English Track) students are a member of Nutrition and Dietetics Club. The president of the club is Şeyma Sarıkabak, 3rd grade student. The Vice President of the club is Onurcan Yurtsever, 2nd grade student.

Şeyma Sarıkabak, the president of the Lösev Club, provided us with information about the club, explaning how to join the club in addition to about upcoming events and activities. She said that the club was founded in 2016 with the following aims:

 -To promote nutrition throughout campus and the community by raising awareness and  encouraging involvement.
-To encourage professional development among members.
-To promote and encourage membership from all those interested in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

For this purpose, we host guest speakers. At the same time, we have the opportunity to visit the dieticians in their work environment. We organize a morning walk every 2 weeks to draw attention to the fact that exercise is part of healthy life. We organize trips to the factories to observe the production stages. Also, we organize activities to raise awareness on important days and weeks. We try to represent the club in the best way possible.", she said.
