Dietitians on Social Media

Nilay Keçeci, MSc, RD talked about her professional experiences. She gave information about professional ethics while giving advice to the students about the future. She also touched on the problems experienced by dietitians in their professional life and she talked about the relationship between dietitians and other professional groups. For students who are future dieticians, she often emphasized that this profession should be scientific, not commercial.In addition, she shared her experiences with the students on social media sharing.

Tolga Dogan, RD also talked about his work experience. He stated that social media is very important today. He explained how social media accounts should be used, how to do research and what should be considered in shared posts. Tolga Dogan, RD pointed out that the accuracy of shared posts on social media is important for people. He also shared his knowledge on the MSc programme.

Students showed great interest in the seminar. After the experience sharing, Nilay Keçeci Arpacı, MSc, RD and Tolga Doğan, RD answered questions from students. The seminar ended with a thank you plaque for guests.
