Associate degree advice for those applying for additional quota
Asst. Prof. Dr. İsmail Cem Ay, who gave information about the associate degree secondary education programs as the applications for the vacant quotas after the placement results of the 2020 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), said, “In terms of both being a little lower in points and creating a suitable time for students to work, students may turn to evening education. In this way, they can both reinforce their knowledge and increase their chances of finding a job by using these experiences after graduation.”
According to the placement results of the 2020 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), 349 thousand 785 students were placed in the 380 thousand 172 total associate degree quotas, and 30.387 quotas remained empty. Additional preferences applications for vacant quotas have started. Applications can be made until September 23. “NO ANY DIFFERENCE” Asst. Prof. Dr. İsmail Cem Ay, Director of Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School, who gave information about the associate degree secondary education programs, said: “There is no difference between formal education and evening education in terms of the course and content of the courses.”
