Nursing education process; It has a very critical role in terms of training nurses who are open to development and innovations, who are in a continuous self-improving cycle and who will deliver the care service to patients in a quality manner. It is an education consisting not only of theoretical but also application and practical process.
Science and technology and globalisation, which make progress in every field; It is vital to have professional nurses who have advanced knowledge and skills in the field of nursing, who will adapt to science, technology and innovations and take part in the education and clinical process of their profession. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to equip them with adequate and competent skills by using science and technology in the education phase of nursing.
The practice of students with patient models and other laboratory equipment in applied laboratory courses with lecturers contributes to the learning of professional responsibilities. The fact that their first clinical work is the moment they meet with the models instead of the moment they meet with the patient contributes positively to increasing their self-confidence by reducing their anxiety instead of feeling uncomfortable and safe.
