Stating that they have started their accreditation studies since 2017 and they are proud of their accreditations, IGU Chairman of the Board of the Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli said: “According to the results of the 'University Impact Ranking (2020)’ conducted by the prestigious international higher education ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE), we are among the top 100 universities in the world in the SDG 4 ‘Quality Education’ category, which is among the sustainable development goals of the United Nations (UN). We became 1st from Turkish universities. We raise our sights in the international field. With the accreditation of Gastronomy Program, Gastronomy Program in English at the School of Applied Sciences and Recreation Program at the School of Physical Education and Sports; the number of our international accredited programs became 60.”
