The event started with the talk of Dr. Yusuf Yeşil who interned in Harvard Medical School and Stanford University Medicine while he was studying at Istanbul University the Faculty of Medicine, and have attended scientific researches at world leader universities in his field.
Yeşil, who combines his interest in visual technologies and animation technologies from high school years with medical science, stated that they carried out the applications of other new technologies such as medical drawings, 3D animations, VR and AR in the field of medicine in the initiative he founded.
In his speech titled Artificial Intelligence in Health, Yeşil said that they use biology, technology and art together while talking about the applications they developed. The event continued with the speech on ‘Social Media in Health Institutions’ by Kadriye Sağlam, who has been continuing her activities in advertising, video production, digital marketing, web design and social media management in ArpaNet Medya, which she founded since 2015.
Sağlam mentioned, the advertising content made by health institutions and physicians in the digital environment and, the limits of advertising in the field of health in general in her speech. Another speaker of the event, Murat Eren, Member of the Board of Health Informatics Association on behalf of Health Informatics Association, made his speech titled ‘Digitalization in Health’.
Stating that the Health Informatics Association is a non-governmental organization aiming to be a partner in the professional development of the members, Eren mentioned the innovations realized in the field of health, where informatics and biomedical technologies are used extensively.
At the end of the event, the Head of the Department of Health Management Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülay Tamer presented plaques to the speakers.
