Lect. Buse Kerigan realized a meeting about the course with students
Lect. Buse Kerigan from Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) School of Health Sciences Department of Child Development met with her students and informed about the course named “CGY303-Field Study in the Pre-school Education”.
The aim of the course is to gain the skills and attitudes towards observation, evaluation and the proper application of education programs in preschool educational institutions. The course content is observation, educational environment, educator, student according to the education plan, and observing and reporting the training plan.
The course named “CGY303-Field Study in the Pre-school Education” aims students to discover the place where to observe the children’s needs, explain the observation technique(s) and its appropriate observation form(s), make applications in accordance with observation criteria, copy and reproduce observation information, adapt the observation information, theorize the observation information, and make proper comparisons in accordance with the age and developmental characteristics of the child.
